I believe it is never too early or too late to seek therapy. All stages of life can be challenging, and no matter where you are in your journey, healing and growth are always possible. As a licensed professional counselor, I will walk beside you as we explore your story and collaborate on the possibilities for healing, focusing on the strengths you already possess.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions can make it difficult to feel like yourself or find a sense of balance. Therapy offers a space to slow down, gain clarity, and begin making meaningful changes in a way that feels supportive and manageable.
I work with individuals to better understand their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and build a deeper sense of confidence and emotional wellbeing. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Together we will focus on what matters most to you, helping you feel more grounded, more connected, and more in control of your life.
In our work together I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR, while also integrating mindfulness and holistic mind-body practices. I believe lasting change happens when we address both the mind and body, and I aim to support you in developing insight, resilience, and practical tools you can carry into your everyday life.
My background includes service as both an enlisted soldier in the Army and an officer in the Air Force, along with many years as an Army spouse. This experience gives me a unique understanding of the demands of military life and the challenges faced by service members and their families. I welcome both military-connected and civilian clients and bring both professional training and lived experience into the therapy process.
Outside of the office I love spending time outdoors, usually hiking, biking, or walking my Goldendoodle. I also enjoy yoga, reading, trying new restaurants with my husband and friends, and listening to live music. I have two adult sons, one who serves as a Navy Sailor stationed in California, and the other who recently graduated from college and works for the Department of the Air Force.
